Tibolone is a medication that belongs to the hormone replacement therapy group and is used during menopause to replenish the amount of estrogens and reduce their symptoms, such as hot flushes or excessive sweating, and also acts to prevent osteoporosis.

The use of Tibolone is indicated for the treatment of complaints such as hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal irritation, depression and decreased sexual desire resulting from menopause or after removal of the ovaries, through surgery.
In addition, this remedy can also be used to prevent osteoporosis, when there is a high risk of fractures, when the woman cannot take other medications or when other medications are not effective.

How to use
The use of Tibolone should be done after a doctor's prescription and according to his instructions. Generally, it is recommended to take one tablet a day, administered orally and preferably at the same time.
However, it should not be used before 12 months after the last natural period.
Possible side effects
Some of the side effects that can occur during treatment with tibolone are abdominal pain, weight gain, vaginal bleeding or spotting, thick white or yellowish vaginal discharge, breast pain, itchy vagina, vaginal candidiasis, vaginitis and excessive hair growth.
Who should not use
The use of tibolone is contraindicated in people with hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, in women with a history of cancer or thrombosis, pregnant women, lactating women, women with heart problems, with abnormal liver function, porphyria or vaginal bleeding without an apparent cause.
