The diuretic diet menu is based on foods that quickly fight fluid retention and that detoxify the body, promoting swelling and excess weight improvement in a few days.
This menu can be used especially after exaggeration in the diet, with large consumption of foods rich in sugar, flour and fats, and after excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Here is an example of a 3-day menu for this diet:

The diuretic diet helps you lose weight because it is low in calories, promotes the proper functioning of the intestine and promotes detoxification of the body, but it is important to remember that this diet should not be done for more than 7 days in a row.

Diuretic teas
Cauliflower rice is low in calories and carbohydrates and can be used for lunch instead of regular white rice.
Ingredients:
- ½ cauliflower
- ½ cup of chopped onion tea
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Preparation mode:
Wash the cauliflower and dry. Then, grate the cauliflower in a thick drain or grind it quickly from the processor or blender, using the pulse function. In a frying pan, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil and add the cauliflower, letting it simmer for about 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and parsley and serve instead of rice.
Diuretic soup recipe for dinner
This diuretic soup recipe is good to use every day for dinner for a week.
Ingredients
- 4 large tomatoes
- 4 medium carrots
- 300 g celery
- 1 medium green pepper
- 6 medium onions
- 2 liters of water
Preparation mode
Cut the vegetables into slices or cubes and cook in 2 liters of water.
