Dry hair arises when the strands are not properly hydrated or lack vitamins in important minerals. This can happen due to the different injuries that the wires suffer daily, such as exposure to the sun, use of the flat iron or washing the hair with very hot water.
These masks are a great way to restore hydration, shine and vitality to this type of hair. However, in addition to masks, it is also important to avoid using excessive chemicals, dryers or flat irons, for example.

2. Milk and honey
Two other ingredients that help moisturize dry hair are milk and honey. That's because milk contains fat that helps make hair more hydrated and flexible, while also containing lactic acid, which removes dead cells and increases shine.
Honey, on the other hand, is known as a wetting substance, which absorbs and traps moisture, maintaining hydration for longer.
Ingredients
- ½ glass of whole milk;
- 1 teaspoon of honey.
Preparation mode
Put the milk in a pan and heat slightly. Then add the honey slowly and stir well until well mixed. Finally, let it cool and put the mixture in a spray bottle.
Spray on hair and scalp, put on a cap and leave on for 20 to 30 minutes. Finally, rinse your hair and wash with a shampoo.
3. Banana and milk
This is a great mask because it is made with banana, a fruit that has excellent vitamins and minerals capable of deeply moisturizing the hair strands, also promoting hair shine. Honey can also be added to this mixture to obtain a longer hydration time.
Ingredients
- 1 very ripe banana;
- 1 little milk.
Preparation mode
Put the ingredients in the blender with enough milk to get a half-liquid mixture, but still thick enough to stick to your hair. Beat the ingredients and then apply to all hair and scalp. Put on a cap and let it stand for 20 minutes.
Finally, wash your hair using hot water and a shampoo suitable for dry hair.
