Fibromyalgia is a chronic disease that causes pain in various parts of the body and has no cure. 1. Herb tea from São João
St. John's wort tea has relaxing properties, thus reducing the pain of fibromyalgia, making it another excellent home remedy for fibromyalgia.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon of São João Herb leaves;
- 500 ml of water.
Preparation mode
Place the ingredients in a saucepan and cook. When it boils, turn off the heat and cover the pan. Allow to cool with the lid, strain and drink 3 to 5 cups a day.
2. Cabbage juice with orange
This home remedy with cabbage is rich in calcium, iron, phosphorus and vitamins A, B and C, which help to tone muscles, strengthen bones, improve blood circulation, increase energy and detoxify the body, being excellent for reducing pains caused by fibromyalgia.
Ingredients
- 1 glass of pure orange juice;
- 2 kale leaves;
- Sugar to taste.
Preparation mode
Beat the ingredients in a blender and then take without straining. It is recommended to take this juice 2 times a day, once on an empty stomach and once in the evening. You can vary the flavor of the juice by beating the cabbage with other fruits, such as pineapple, lemon or apple, for example.
3. Ginkgo biloba tea
Ginkgo biloba is a Chinese medicinal plant, rich in flavonoids and terpenoids, which give it anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. In addition, this plant has numerous benefits, such as improving concentration, preventing memory loss and fighting anxiety and depression, which is one of the main causes of fibromyalgia.
Ingredients
- 5 dried leaves or 1 tablespoon of dried biloba gingko powder;
- 1 cup of boiling water.
Preparation mode
Mix all ingredients and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes, strain and take 4 times a day.
Gingko biloba can also be taken as a supplement, in a dose of 2 capsules a day or as directed by the doctor.
4. Cayenne pepper
Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin, as well as pepper and chilli. This substance, according to some scientific studies, helps to release serotonin, which is directly related to the perception of pain, leading to its decrease. For this reason, adding a pinch of cayenne pepper to juices, milkshakes, water and meals can help relieve pain, as well as adding pepper to season foods.
In addition, it is also possible to buy capsaicin cream in pharmacies, to relieve muscle pain, which can be applied to the skin 3 or 4 times a day.
5. Turmeric tea

- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder;
- 150 mL of boiling water.
Preparation mode
Put the turmeric powder in the boiling water and let it stand for about 10 to 15 minutes.Then let it cool and, once hot, drink up to 3 cups a day between meals.
