How to use Revitan
The method of use of Revitan should be indicated by the pediatrician, according to the "Recommended Daily Intake - IDR" table of vitamins. The use of Revitan can be:
- Children 6 months to 1 year: 1 ml / day;
- Children 1 to 3 years: 1.5 ml / day;
- Children 4 to 6 years: 2 ml / day;
- Children 7 to 10 years: 2.5 ml / day;
- Teenagers 11 to 14 years old - 3 ml / day.
Revitan can be administered together with juices and milk, in a single dose per day or divided into two doses per day, preferably with a meal.
Side Effects of Revitan
Side effects of Revitan are rare, but itchiness, redness of the skin, irritation of the lining of the mouth, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headache, malaise, confusion or excitement, peeling of the skin, blurred vision and loss of appetite.
Revitan contraindications
Revitan is contraindicated in a patient with hypersensitivity to any component of the formula, hypervitaminosis A or D and excess calcium in the blood. Revitan should be taken with caution in a patient with diabetes, kidney disease or anemia.
