This example of homemade cellulite treatment should be done 3 times a week and can be useful to eliminate cellulite of grades 1 and 2, but it also helps to combat cellulite of grades 3 and 4, which are more evident and profound.
However, to improve the result it is advisable to drink green tea and eat a healthy diet, avoiding all processed foods, giving preference to raw foods, to detoxify the body and decrease fluid retention.
This homemade cellulite treatment consists of 3 simple steps that can be done while bathing:
Step 1: Exfoliation Step 2: Cellulite cream
1st Step: Exfoliate your skin
Exfoliating the skin is the first step to treating cellulite, as it removes dead skin cells and renews it, preparing for the next steps.
To do the exfoliation, just apply an exfoliating cream or make a homemade exfoliation, using circular movements, washing the skin afterwards. See a homemade exfoliating recipe.
2nd Step: Use anti-cellulite cream
The second step includes the application of an anti-cellulite cream. After removing dead skin cells with exfoliation, the anti-cellulite cream will be better absorbed by the skin.
A good example of cellulite cream is Clarins' Hight Definition Body Lift Cellulite Control anti-cellulite cream, which can be found in cosmetic stores such as Sephora, for example, as well as Nivea's Goodbye Cellulite. See more examples at: Creams for cellulite.
3rd Step: Massage
Massage is the third and last step of this homemade cellulite treatment and can be done with the Beurer cellulite massager, for example. Just apply the massager on the body area with cellulite, changing its position to fully cover the region.
The massage will stimulate blood circulation in the region, promoting the absorption of the cream and the elimination of cellulite, but it should not be longer than 15 minutes. More details at: Massage against cellulite.
How to end cellulite
To end cellulite, in addition to this home treatment, it is important to follow some recommendations such as:
- Take diuretic teas to help eliminate excess fluids that can cause cellulite;
- Take the horse chestnut tea, as it has anti-inflammatory and vasoactive properties, placing 1 teaspoon of dried horse chestnut leaves in 1 cup of boiling water, letting it rest for about 10 minutes and straining Next;
- Instead of horse chestnut tea, take 250 to 300 mg of dried horse chestnut extract, 1 or 2 times a day, with meals, as it contains a higher concentration of escin, the substance that is effective in fighting cellulite;
- Invest in a healthy diet, avoiding the consumption of industrialized foods, sweets, with salt, fried foods or that contain fat or sugar in their composition;
- Drink plenty of water, about 2 to 3 liters a day;
- Practice physical exercises such as running, step, jump, treadmill, rhythmic gymnastics, football and hydrotherapy, for example, at least 3 times a week and lasting approximately 1 hour.
This healthy lifestyle should be adopted for life, to help fight cellulite and to prevent its resurgence.
