Penicillin, also known as Benzetacil, is an antibiotic that can be administered by injection and in some cases, can be taken orally. Benzetacil orally is best indicated for infections that are not very serious and should be taken every 6 hours, outside mealtimes.
It should never be indicated in the most severe cases, because when taken, the pill will go through the whole digestive tract and undergo some changes, reducing its effect. In this case, the injection that takes the medicine directly into the bloodstream is preferable.
