At 7 months, babies should include 3 meals with new foods throughout the day, including a fruit baby food for morning and afternoon snacks, and a salt baby food for lunch.
Each new food should be introduced to the menu at intervals of about 3 days to facilitate the identification of foods that may cause allergies in the baby or problems such as gas, diarrhea and constipation. Papaya Sweet Papaya
Cut a medium slice of beautiful papaya or 2 slices of papaya. Remove the seeds and scrape the fruit pulp to give to the baby, being careful to avoid large pieces or lumps.
Apple and Carrot Baby Food
This baby food is rich in vitamins C and B, antioxidants and calcium, which are important nutrients to strengthen the immune system, prevent anemia and strengthen bones.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 small carrot
- 1 peeled apple
- 200 ml of breast milk or infant formula
Preparation mode:
Wash the carrot and apple well, remove the peel and cut into cubes, taking to cook in the milk over low heat until the carrot is very soft. Put the mixture in a container, knead with a fork and wait for it to cool before serving it to the baby.
Potato baby food, meat and broccoli
The ground meat must be made from lean cuts, such as muscle, soft leg, hard leg and fillet.
Ingredients:
- 1 small potato
- ½ beet
- 1 tablespoon ground beef
- 2 tablespoons chopped broccoli
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- Onions and garlic for seasoning
Preparation mode:
In a pan, sauté the onion and the meat ground in oil, and then add the potatoes and beets. Cover with filtered water and cover the pan, allowing to cook until all the ingredients are very soft and with a little broth. Add the broccoli and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat, place on a plate and mash all the ingredients with a fork, serving the baby when it is warm.
Papaya of Mandioquinha
This baby food is rich in vitamins A, B, E and iron, important nutrients to maintain the health of the baby's eyes, bones and skin, and to help prevent anemia.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 medium cassava
- 5 leaves of watercress
- 1 tablespoon chopped onion
- 1 spoon of shredded chicken breast
- ½ egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- ½ clove of garlic
- Preparation mode:
Peel the cassava, wash well with the watercress leaves, cut into cubes. Cut in small cubes 1 tablespoon of chicken breast and bring all the ingredients to cook with the sauteed onion and garlic, until the cassava is very tender and the chicken is cooked.
In another pan, place 1 egg to cook. When the meal is ready, shred the chicken and knead all the ingredients, also adding half the egg yolk to give the baby.
