When and how to brush baby teeth
The baby's oral hygiene must be performed from birth. In this way, before the baby's teeth are born, the baby's gums, cheeks and tongue should be cleaned with a gauze or moist compress at least twice a day, one of them at night before the baby goes to sleep.
After the birth of the teeth, they should be brushed, preferably after meals, but at least twice a day, the last being before sleeping. During this period, it is already recommended to use a toothbrush for babies and, from 1 year of age, toothpaste suitable for babies as well.
