Taking a home remedy for cellulite is a great way to complement the treatment that can be done through food, physical exercise and aesthetic devices.
Teas cleanse and purify the body, and should be consumed daily, without adding sugar. The recommended amount varies, but can be up to 2 liters per day. In order not to get sick of the taste, it is possible to mix these herbs in different concentrations.
1. Leather-hat tea
An excellent home remedy for cellulite is leather-hat tea, because this medicinal plant has diuretic, purifying and laxative properties that can help combat fluid retention that is related to cellulite.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon of dried leather hat leaves
- 1 cup boiling water
Preparation mode

2. Horse chestnut tea
A good home remedy for cellulite is to take the horse chestnut tea because it is rich in escin, a very effective element against cellulite.
Ingredients
- 30 g of horse chestnut leaves
- 1 liter of boiling water
Preparation mode
Add the chestnut in 1 liter of boiling water and let stand for 20 minutes. Then strain and drink at least 3 cups of this tea a day.
The dry extract of horse chestnut is also indicated to combat cellulite, being even more concentrated. In this case, it is recommended to take 250 to 300 mg, 1 or 2 times a day, for up to 6 months.
3. Horsetail tea
Another good home remedy for cellulite is to take the tea prepared with horsetail, because it increases urinary frequency, being effective against fluid retention.
Ingredients
- 180 ml of water together
- 1 tablespoon of dried horsetail leaves
Preparation mode
Boil the water with the herb for 5 minutes. Then let it rest for 5 minutes. Filter and drink the tea while still warm. Drink 4 times a day.
4. Green tea
Green tea has catechins, which are great for fighting fluid retention due to its draining effect.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of green tea

5. Salt massage
A salt massage stimulates blood circulation, increasing lymphatic drainage, thus reducing cellulite.

6. Fruit juice
A great anti-cellulite juice is with melon, blackberry and mint, as these foods are diuretics, helping to eliminate excess fluids and toxins from the body, which cause cellulite.
Ingredients
- 1/2 melon
- 1/2 cup raspberries
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1 glass of water
- powdered ginger
- 1 spoon of fresh mint leaves
Preparation mode
Beat all the ingredients in the blender and drink right after, because 20 minutes after the juice is prepared, it loses its properties.
