Ranitidine hydrochloride sold under the name Ranidin is a medication that helps control the symptoms of peptic ulcer and other stomach discomfort.
Duodenal, gastric, post-operative ulcer, reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, dyspepsia, decreased gastric secretion, Mendelson's syndrome and prophylaxis of gastric hemorrhages.
Contraindications
People allergic to any of the components of the formula. In case of cancer.
Side effects
Liver dysfunction, hepatitis, hepatosis with or without jaundice, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis or pancytopenia, bradycardia, atrioventricular block, headache, dizziness, mental confusion, blurred vision, rash and arthralgia.
How to use
About 150mg twice a day, in the morning and at night or 300mg at bedtime for 4 weeks, which can last for another 4 weeks.
