An example of a natural solution to relieve the burn is to immediately immerse the affected region in cold water, for at least 5 minutes, until the burning sensation disappears, also relieving pain and swelling.
After this procedure, you can apply home remedies based on aloe vera, sugar water or bananas, for example, to treat the burn more quickly.
1. Natural remedy with sugar
An excellent natural remedy for burns is the sugar paste, as it helps to moisturize the area, facilitating healing and preventing the appearance of blisters and scars.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of sugar;
- 1 tablespoon of water.
Preparation mode
Mix the water and sugar until a homogeneous paste is formed and then place over the burn, covering with sterile gauze. Change twice a day, washing the skin with warm water between applications, but without rubbing.
A good tip is to add 1 egg white to the mixture, as it has collagen, which contributes to the formation of new skin.
2. Natural remedy with banana
The natural remedy for burns with bananas is a great way to relieve pain and prevent the formation of scars, as bananas have a calming action and have sugar, vitamins and minerals that help in the formation of a new smooth and soft skin.
Ingredients
- 1 semi-green banana;
- 2 banana leaves.
Preparation mode
Knead the banana until it forms a homogeneous mixture. Then place the paste on the burn and cover with the banana leaves well washed. This poultice must be changed every day.
3. Aloe vera gel
Another very effective and quick home remedy is aloe vera gel, which has anti-inflammatory, healing, moisturizing and antibacterial properties. See more benefits of Aloe Vera.
To enjoy its benefits, just have a pot with this plant at home and, when necessary, remove a piece of the leaf, open it in half and apply directly to the burn.
