Noripurum is a medicine used to treat small red blood cell anemia and anemia caused by iron deficiency, however, it can also be used in people who do not have anemia, but who have low iron levels.

1. Noripurum tablets
Noripurum tablets have 100 mg of type III iron, which is essential for the formation of hemoglobin, which is a protein that allows the transport of oxygen through the circulatory system and can be used in the following situations:
- Signs and symptoms of iron deficiency that have not yet manifested or have manifested itself in a mild manner;
- Iron deficiency anemia due to malnutrition or food shortages;
- Anemias due to intestinal malabsorption;
- Iron deficiency anemia during pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- Anemias due to recent bleeding or for long periods.

How to take
Noripurum chewable tablets are indicated for children from 1 year of age, in adults, pregnant women and lactating women. The dose and duration of therapy vary widely depending on the person's problem, but generally the recommended dose is:
Children (1-12 years) | 1 100 mg tablet, once daily |
Pregnant | 1 100 mg tablet, 1 to 3 times a day |
Lactating | 1 100 mg tablet, 1 to 3 times a day |

2. Noripurum for injection
Noripurum ampoules for injection have 100 mg of iron III in their composition, which can be used in the following situations:
- Severe ferropenic anemias, which occur after bleeding, childbirth or surgery;
- Disorders of gastrointestinal absorption, when it is not possible to take pills or drops;
- Gastrointestinal absorption disorders, in cases of lack of adherence to treatment;
- Anemias in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy or in the postpartum period;
- Correction of ferropenic anemia in the preoperative period of major surgeries;
- Iron deficiency anemias accompanying chronic renal failure.
How to use
The daily dose should be determined individually according to the degree of iron deficiency, weight and hemoglobin values in the blood:

How to take

The daily dose can be taken at once or divided into separate doses, during or immediately after meals, and can be mixed with porridge, fruit juice or milk. The drops should not be given directly into the children's mouth.
Possible side effects
In the case of pills and drops, adverse reactions to this medicine are rare, but abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, stomach pain, poor digestion and vomiting may occur. In addition, skin reactions such as redness, hives and itching may also occur.
In the case of injectable noripurum, transient changes in taste may occur with some frequency. The rarest adverse reactions are low blood pressure, fever, tremors, feeling of heat, reactions at the injection site, feeling sick, headache, dizziness, increased heart rate, palpitations, shortness of breath, diarrhea, muscle pain and reactions in skin like redness, hives and itching.
It is also very common to darken the stool in people who are undergoing iron treatment.
Who should not use
Noripurum should not be used in people with an allergy to iron III or any other component of the formula, who have acute liver disease, gastrointestinal disorders, anemia not caused by iron deficiency or people who are unable to use it, or even in situations of iron overload.
In addition to these cases, intravenous Nopirum should also not be used in the first trimester of pregnancy.
